March is Women's History Month - and we're celebrating our strong network of women worldwide. Here are a few upcoming events in the Boston and Portland areas. 

Friday, March 8: Join Me on the Bridge 
Boston, MA 
11 a.m. 
Celebrate international Women’s Day with Women for Women International (WfWi) and show your support for women around the world! Meet at the Boston Women’s Memorial to make signs and at noon we'll walk to the Massachusetts Avenue Bridge, over the Charles River to Cambridge.

Saturday, March 9: Run/Walk for Congo 10K & 5K 
Portland, OR 
7:30 a.m. 
An annual fundraiser hosted by Women for Women International to raise money to support women in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Thursday, March 14: Chocolate & Coffee Pairing 
Equal Exchange Cafe, 226 Causeway St., Boston, MA
6 p.m. - 8 p.m. 
Join us for a coffee and chocolate tasting with Beth Ann Caspersen, Equal Exchange’s Quality Control Manager who works with coffee tasters from around the world. Sample a variety of coffee and chocolate and learn about the Congo Coffee Project, a special African blend that raises awareness about issues faced in the Democratic Republic of Congo. All proceeds from the event will go to Women for Women International. Cost is $20, or get two tickets for $30. (Event is limited to 40 people.) Register now here.
