Over the last year we at Equal Exchange have been making a concerted effort to have conversations with lots of our customers. We have called hundreds and hundreds of our customers, some folks who are just starting, others who have been super stars for over a decade and some who are working hard but are still not growing.
We are pleased to share a new tool: our Community Help Hotline. This hotline was inspired by having conversations with many of you about common challenges and successes when it comes to selling and serving Equal Exchange in your communities. Some of you need help gaining the pastor or justice committee's support;others told us that it's difficult to educate folks about Fair Trade. We also heard that folks have trouble getting started. Many of you hit a ceiling in sales and want to do better. For every one of these problems we also heard about creative solutions and we want to share them with all of you!
So if you need tips for recruiting support, educating your community, getting started, or drumming up sales, we are here and we want to help. Please don't hesitate to call.
